Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Immunological analyses for human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells was performed during study period. 1) Gene expression and cell surface marker molecules were analyzed in human bone marrow or peripheral blood derived mesenchymal stem cells. 2) Gene expression and cell surface marker molecules were analyzed in human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells cultured various conditions. 3) Safety and therapeutic efficacy were evaluated in experimental stroke model after intravenous infusion of mesenchymal stem cells in rats.
