| Research Abstract |
We analysed causative genes of retinal degenertions. We have found several mutations in peripherin-RDSgene or CYP4 V2 gene of Bietti crystalline retinopathy. In x-linked retinitis pigmentosa gene patients, we analysed ORF15 region of RPGR gene and RP2 gene. In congenital retinoschisis patients with RS-1 gene mutation, we performed vitreous surgeries and reported the results.
We also established experimental model of ischemic optic neuropathy and successfully recorded STR. Recording of STR revealed innner retinal function.
