Research Abstract |
To develop computer-aided diagnosis of oral mucosal lesions with soft-computing system, we analyzed solution patterns of oral surgeons in diagnosis. We focuced three major mucosal lesions, i.e., oral cancer, leukoplakia and oral lichen planus. The fuzzy theory was useful to manage ambiguity or uncertainty of solution pattern.
