Research Abstract |
We examined the effects of parent training (PT) for preschool children with developmental disabilities and abused children. PT significantly improved the behavioral abnormalities of over-1-year-old children with developmental disabilities. PT with team approach aimed for re-acquisition of attachment, was available for correcting behavioral abnormalities of abused children. As the decreased and incorrect social skill is obvious in those children, we developed a specialized SST pamphlet for nursery home and school. This SST pamphlet may be useful for acquisition of social skill in those children.
