Research Abstract |
The purpose of this research is to develop a mental health program in order for junior high school students to improve self-management ability. We interviewed junior high school teachers to collect information about present mental health education problems. We found out that they have a hard time to teach mental health to students because teachers did not have enough knowledge about mental illnesses. To understand about mental health education program (Mind Matters) in Australia, we joined the program in 2012. Then we made a mental health education program for junior high school students based on the program (Mind Matters) in Australia.
