Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The object of this research is to make clear communication design for social cooperation between human and an artifact such as a robot. A theatrical approach is used to do this, in which possible situations are shown as a play to an audiences. We tackled motion generation of artifacts within this period. In this research, emotional motions of actors are captured with a motion capture technique and these motion data can be adapted to the character of each target robot according to an emotion model. Furthermore, an environment of the audience motion data accumulation was provided for a theatrical performance where actors and artifacts play together. Data from the audience and motion data of actors and artifacts will be analyzed to evaluate the interaction between human and artifacts.
