Research Abstract |
The mammalian oscillator for circadian rhythm with a period of 24 hours is localized in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN). Although the recent advance in genetic engineering methods provide different region-specific expression system, we have not obtained the specific expression system in SCN. The present study is to try to establish a system of SCN-specific expression using a combination of different promoters.
