Research Abstract |
A new dance form, Community dance, has recently been more popular in the contemporary society. It's partly because Community Dance is said to be able to resolve social issues, such as, less communication skill in school and/or family, community, minority, disability, aging and multi-ethinic issue and so forth. In this study I explored some questions through mainly participatory observation: what is community dance, why we need community dance, and how we can facilitate/practice community dance workshop. Finally I published a handbook for training people who want to be facilitators of the community dance workshop.
