Research Abstract |
Through interviews and think-aloud editing tasks, this study examined the thought processes and learning experiences of native-English-speaking English teachers editing scientific abstracts. We learned that these teachers experienced much difficulty when editing, especially rega rding terminology; consulting outside sources as well as authors will improve the quality of English-teachers’ editing work.
