Grant-in-Aid for Challenging Exploratory Research
Expressions for two-dimensional time-domain terahertz spectroscopy signals were formulated, and time- and frequency-domain spectra were calculated for various parameters. Hydration of protein in aqueous solutions was studied using high-precision terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. Broadly tenable terahertz emission was achieved using triangular mesas of high-temperature superconductors.
