Research Abstract

We have generated and detected a short-pulse in the far-infrared (terahertz) region below 300 cm^-1by electro-optic sampling method and air-plasma generation and air-biased-coherent-detection method. We employed deconvolution procedure for the data analysis to take the pulse width into consideration.
