| Research Abstract |
In this research subject, we have tried to develop the photocatalytic processes that enable recycling of biomass materials and toxic organic compounds to valuable materials. We have developed three photocatalytic processes promoting 1) dehalogenation of organic halide, 2) hydrogenation of nitroaromatics to amine, and 3) denitrogenation of aromatic cyanide, which can be operated under milder reaction conditions at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.
