Research Abstract |
In this study, we aimed to develop a method to easily detect protein-protein interactions in live mammalian cells. Instead of conventional methods employing fluorescence or luminescence as a read-out, we developed a novel method to detect protein-protein interactions based on cell growth. Using known interacting protein pairs, we successfully induced cell growth dependent on the protein-protein interactions.
