Research Abstract |
The molecular mechanism of apoptotic mitochondrial permeability increase has not been fully elucidated yet. We aimed to analyze this structure using electron and fluorescence microscopes. In this research, we found the occurrence of criste fusion and opening, outer membrane blebbing, and Bak oligomerization during apoptosis. These findings unveil structural mechanism of apoptotic mitochondrial changes.
