Research Abstract |
In this study, we focused on mitophagy, one of the mitochondrial quality control systems that selectively degrades the energy-converting organelles governing cell life and death via autophagy. Particularly, using budding yeast as a model organism, we sought to establish the molecular bases and regulatory tools that artificially suppress or facilitate mitophagy.
