Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study is to clarify the molecular mechanism of causal factor of vasospasm, SPC. Surprisingly, SPC was not produced by the enzymatic reaction, but by the non-enzymatic reaction. We discovered that OH radical plays an essential role of the non-enzymatic production of SPC.
