Research Abstract |
In this study, it was revealed that capsaicin induces mechanical allodinia but does not induce thermal allodinia in frog. It was suggested that ATP-P2X system might play an important role in induction of mechanical allodinia in frog, because P2X antagonist suramine blocked capsaicin-induced mechanical allodinia. We devised the nano oscillating impression equipment which used the elastic hinge mechanism to apply minute mechanical stimulation for taste organs (taste hairs) of the fly.
