Research Abstract |
We performed metabolome analysis using bipolar disorder model mice, which we have developed, to elucidate the physiological change at the molecular level during hypoactivity episodes the model showed. Plasma concentration of molecules related to cellular energy metabolism and cholesterol metabolism were significantly altered. Because these metabolites are to be in human plasma, the present result will lead to future clinical studies.
