Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have successfully developed direct oxidative carbon-carbon bond forming reactions based on the concept of site isolation. We have also developed indirect oxidative carbon-carbon bond forming reactions using anodic hydroxylation as a key step. Furthermore, one-pot electrosynthesis (paired electrosynthesis) of β-nitroalcohols using benzylalcohols as a starting material has been achieved based on the site isolation between an anode and a cathode in electrochemical reactions.
