Outline of Annual Research Achievements

光合成色素を色素増感太陽電池及びペロブスカイト型太陽電池のホール輸送剤として適用できることを証明した。光合成色素であるクロロフィル誘導体は中心金属及びアルキル基を交換することにより、電子移動度が大幅に変わることが分かった。特に亜鉛クロロフィル誘導体は-5.0 eVのHOMOを持ち、高いホール移動度を持つことが分かった。この亜鉛クロロフィルをホール輸送剤に用い、多種類の色素増感太陽電池を作製した。エネルギー変換効率は低いが、太陽電池としての光電変換の性能を示しており、亜鉛クロロフィルから増感色素への電子移動が起こることを確認できた。更に、同じ亜鉛クロロフィルをペロブスカイト型太陽電池のホール輸送剤にも使用した。この太陽電池によって4%以上の光電変換効率を達成した。これは世界で初めてクロロフィルをペロブスカイト型太陽電池に利用する凡例になった。
