Research Abstract |
In this project, I have developed a high-performance biometric recognition system with contactless palm image acquisition. I have proposed a matching region extraction algorithm for palm images and a high-accuracy image matching algorithm for palm regions, which is robust against nonlinear deformation caused by finger movement. Also, I have developed a prototype palm recognition system for mobile phones and demonstrated its effectiveness.
