Research Abstract |
In the present study, we developed the preparation method of targeted-bubbles for ultrasound molecular imaging based on clinically available ultrasound contrast agent, Sonazoid. By modifying Sonazoid with lactadherin, the number of adhered bubbles to integrin avb3-expresssing endothelial cells was increased significantly. Our results would imply the feasibility of lactadherin-bearing Sonazoid as ultrasound contrast agent for angiogenesis. The future in vivo studies would be of benefit.
