Research Abstract |
In the present study, we examined the effect of elevated muscle temperature on muscle metabolism. As results, we provided evidence that elevated muscle temperature per se has exercise-like effects on rat skeletal muscle. This emphasizes the potential role that elevated muscle temperature may play in the regulation of muscle metabolisms during exercise.
