Research Abstract |
Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) profile retrievals by Multi-Axis Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (MAX-DOAS) over the remote ocean were performed. Atmospheric aerosol and NO2 variations over ocean were investigated using MAX-DOAS measurements on R/V Mirai for quantifying the background values over ocean. Comparison with satellite measurements aswell as ground based measurements were also performed.
