Research Abstract |
We carried out a social experiment and a social survey in Tiyo Woreda, Arsi Zone, Ethiopia. We could measure the local inhabitants social networks, knowledge and adoption of innovative technologies. We constructed quantitative models of diffusion of technologies in such rural areas of developing countries and organized an international workshop in Tokyo to announce the results.
