Research Abstract |
In this study, I examined to elucidate the characterization ofosteopontin polymerized by protein crosslinking enzyme, transglutaminase 2. First, recognition site of an integrin alpha9beta1 in the polymeric osteopontin was determined. Next, using several inflammation-model mice, polymeric osteopontin appeared and increased according to inflammation, and was thought to be required for progression of inflammation.
