Research Abstract |
Library synthesis of destruxin E utilizing solid-phase synthesis has been achieved. Parallel synthesis of the cyclization precursors was performed by solid-phase peptide synthesis. After cleavage from the polymer-support, MNBA-mediated macrolactonization in solution-phase, followed by the epoxide formation furnished destruxin E library containing side chain- or ring size-modified derivatives.
