Research Abstract |
Aiming at the measurement of the Gamow-Teller strength distribution in the Iron-group nuclei, we have developed an active target, which acts as a tracking detector and a reaction target, consisting of gaseous time projection chamber using deuterium gas. We performed a test experiment with 56Fe beam and a pilot experiment with 14O exotic beam.
