Research Abstract |
We have succeeded in preparing metal nanoparticles template by chitin nanofiber surface. Graft copolymerization of acrylic acid on chitin nanofibers was carried out with potassium persulfate as a free radical initiator in an aqueous medium.Silver and gold nanoparticles/chitin nanofiber composite sheets were characterized in detail. Silver nanoparticle composite showed anti-bacterial activity.
