Research Abstract |
This study focuses on the air traffic flow management in Japan, and firstly the characteristics of air traffic flow to/from Haneda airport was analyzed. Based on its characteristics, the improved air traffic flow management procedures were proposed such as the introduction of metering of dual arrival flow and the optimization of the allocation of departure and arrival flight number in a time-series manner.
