Research Abstract |
It has been reported that the efficient DNA damage response in heterochromatin requires histone H3 K9 methylation. However, in this study, it issuggested that H3 K9 methylation is not required for damage response signaling in euchromatin. Furthermore, the other histone modification is indicated to be involved in this regulation.
