Research Abstract |
To clarify the molecular mechanism regulating the CYP1A2 sex-specific expression, the effect of the growth hormone was examined. The continuous females specific growth hormone pattern treatment led the decreased CYP1A2 mRNA expression in the hepatocytes. The binding of Fra1 and C/EBPα to the Cyp1a2 gene 5’-flanking region was revealed.
