Research Abstract |
To el uci date the mechani sm whi ch represses pl uri potency i n germline stem cells (GSCs), this study investigated whether epigenetic changes induce GS-mGS conversion. As a result, lentiviral transduction of shrnas for epigenetic modifiers did not induce GS-mGS conversion. These results suggest that pluripotency in GS cells is repressed by several pathways.
