Research Abstract |
We have previously reported that EMT-acquired normal epithelial cells facilitated invasion of cancer cells, when they mixed and cultured together. A number of specific genes expressed in these cells were identified by using microarray analysis. ITGA3 was highly expressed in poorly-differentiated breast cancer tissues and the neutralizing antibody of ITGA3 suppressed invasion of EMT-acquired cells.
