Research Abstract |
We noticed that the deference pattern of staining with podocin and synaptopodin, which are slit-diaphragm proteins in irreversible glomerulonephritis. We found that Sorting Nexin 9 (SNX9) lead the podocin trafficking in these nephritis. Actually, we recognized that SNX9 will appear in glomeruli only significant severe glomerulonephritis, and it connect tightly to podocin in such conditions. In biochemical examination also indicated SNX9 and podocin contact each other, and the immunofluorescence examination showed same staining pattern in irreversible glomerulonephritis. We are now continuing to research of SNX9 and podocin because of completion of our hypothesis with knocked down and over expression of SNX9 podocyte cell line.
