Research Abstract |
Flaky tail mice carry a 1bp deletion in a gene encoding filaggrin and develop spontaneous dermatitis. In this study, we used flaky tail mice as a model of atopic dermatitis. Improvement of dermatitis was observed after treatment with MIF-DNA vaccine or DHEMQ. These data suggest that both MIF-DNA vaccine and DHMEQ be a novel therapeutic option for atopic dermatitis.
