Research Abstract |
We evaluated the inducible humoral and cellular immunity of inactivated HVJ-E in the patients with advanced malignant melanoma. As results, we detected a novel and specific auto-antibody which was upregulated with HVJ-E administration in human as well as in melanoma cells bearing mice. CD4^+/ CD8^+T cells and CD11c^+dendritic cells robustly infiltrated particularly into the shrinking melanoma tissues, indicating that HVJ-E could augment the comprehensive anti-tumor immunity in malignant melanoma.
