Research Abstract |
We establish a streamlined process to generate the dendritic cells from mouse iPS cells and ES cells. To enhance the anti-tumor effect, we generated a ES cell clone expressing IL-15. Furthermore, we generated the macrophages derived from human iPS cells as an effector cells attacking tumor . The iPS cell derived macrophages itself did not show any anti-tumor effects on human melanoma grafted SCID mouse model. However ,genetically modified cytokine producing iPS macrophages show a potent anti tumor effects.
