Research Abstract

We investigated whether ETS-GS, a novel vitamin E derivative, had therapeutic effect against renal ischemic-reperfusion injury in rat model. In this study, we found that ETS-GS improved the survival retes, renal disfunction after renal ischemic-reperfusion, which was also demonstrated by histological evaluation. In addition, our results indicated that the mechanism of improvement effect against renal ischemic-reperfusion injury may be involved in antioxidant effect by ETS-GS.
