Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) analysis is expected as the personalized medicine in pharmacotherapy. In this study, we attempted to extract SNPs correlated with drug response of adjuvant chemotherapy for uterine cancer as an individual diagnosis of cancer stem cells.
A comprehensive SNP analysis was conducted, and specific SNPs on drug metabolism genes were identified. These SNPs may be useful in predicting toxicities as well as effects of chemotherapy.
An individual diagnosis of cancer stem cells based on genomic information could apply to a new personalized treatment for uterine and other cancers.
