Research Abstract |
Irradiation of gallium-aluminum-arsenide (GaAlAs) laser to rat molars induces mineralized tissue formation in the pulp chamber. This study aimed to analyze mRNA expression of mineralized tissue matrix proteins during early phases of the laser-induced mineralized tissue formation. Expression levels of mineralized tissue matrix protein mRNAs peaked prior to the mineralized tissue formation after laser irradiation. These proteins might play some role in the cytodifferentiation of newly-generated mineralized tissue-forming cells.
