Research Abstract

I performed two-photon calcium imaging in L2/3 and L5 of the mouse primary motor cortex during a few weeks of a self-initiated lever-pull task, identifying L2/3 and L5 based on the cortical depth of the imaging plane. During motor learning, increasing firing rate of neurons was frequently observed in L5 than L2/3
