| Research Abstract |
Targeting Yamanashi, Gunma, Nagano Prefecture, I investigated the information environment in the early Meiji era. For Yamanashi prefecture, I made it clear correlation between the newspaper and the development of information environment. For Gunma Prefecture, I made it clear thatcapital information mechanism has been developed in 1875. For Nagano Prefecture, I made it clear trend of Gintensya and Takami Jinzaemon.
