| Research Abstract |
In this study, I clarified the accent systems of the Yeosu dialects of Jeollanam-do of Korean and conducted field research focusing on regional differences. This study revealed that the accent rule of compound nouns and the accents of verbs and adjectives in the Yeosu-Dolsan dialect. In addition, it is found that the accent phenomenon is very close with Gyeongsang dialects. Also, The accent rule of compound nouns and the accents of verbs and adjectives in Bonghwa dialect of North Gyeongsang Province have been clarified.
