Research Abstract |
We develop numerical schemes for solving relativistic resistive radiation magnetohydrodynamic equations. Using semi-implicit scheme, we can lower computational costs without preventing massive parallel computing. Then we adopt our code to study radiation effects on the relativistic magnetic reconnection. We found that a radiation drag force slows down an outflow speed, leading to a reduction of energy conversion rate.
