Research Abstract

Genetic differentiation was detected between the proximal partof neo-X and neo-Y in Tokudaia muenniniki, showing that the sex-autosomal translocations worked the gain of male-specific region in neo-Y at least near the ancestral Y region. DDX3Yand UTYas functional sequences and SRY, EIF2S3YandUSP9Yas pseudogene sequences were identified in the proto-Y euchromatic region of T. muenninki.
