Research Abstract |
In northern Japan, QOL for patients following total hip arthroplasty (THA) was evaluated. Qualitative study showed THA patients had difficulties of falls or daily life, and decreased physical activities in winter. Quantitative study was also conducted. In addition, physical activity scale was developed. Reliability and validity was confirmed among patients with osteoarthritis and healthy old people.
