Research Abstract |
Early exposure to general anesthesia causes widespread apoptotic neurodegeneration in the developing rodents and rhesus monkeys brain.In this study, we observed that preinjection of nicotine markedly reduced neuronal apoptosis caused by sevoflurane exposure in the developing brain.
