Research Abstract |
In chronic inflammation disease, constitutively produced inflammatory cytokines perturb various gene expression mechanisms. We focused on epigenetic regulation of gene expression, and found several modifications on histone which were specifically altered by IL-6. On the other hand, we proposed a novel model which could explain aberrant regulation of epigenetics in inflammatory-associated cancer.
