Research Abstract |
In this study, sequential changes of tongue pressure in stroke patients were related to indices of dysphagia. These results suggested a certain relationship between post stroke dysphagia and swallowing disability in oral stage indicated by tongue pressure measurement. This study suggested a possibility of prognosis prediction in post stroke dysphagia and useful information for planning rehabilitation and drug development.
